约翰·梅纳德·凯恩斯（1883年6月5日—1946年4月21日），英国经济学家，长期任教于剑桥大学国王学院，曾率英国代表团出席布雷顿森林会议。研究方向为宏观经济学、货币理论、就业理论与经济政策。他主张政府通过财政与货币政策干预经济，创立了以有效需求理论为核心的现代宏观经济学框架。代表作有《和约的经济后果》《货币改革论》《货币论》《就业、利息和货币通论》《概率论》等。
